Hyundai i40 is a middle-class passenger car. Manufactured since 2011 by the South Korean company Hyundai Motor Company. It was designed in Germany in the European development center of the Russelsheim am the Main brand. He has had his debut in Geneva at the motor show in 2011. For first, a combi version was presented. The sedan version showed up a few months later at the Motor Show in Barcelona. Sporty and dynamic silhouette, the Hyundai i40 owes to the “Fluidic Sculpture” brand, which designed it according to the latest stylistic trends.
The first face lifting auto went through in 2014. The radiator grille has been changed, the front bumper incorporating LED fog lights, headlamps, and rear lamps. On the occasion of the facelift, the offer was extended to which 7-speed DCT transmissions were introduced. Optional equipment was also added in the form of an automatically opened boot lid, a system recognizing road signs and speed limits, ATCC, and REDC systems.
Another face lifting took place in October 2018. The look of the radiator grille has changed, the inside of the car was slightly redesigned, and the 1.7 CRDi diesel engine was replaced with 1.6 CRD and 115 or 136 hp Smartster. An automatic braking system in emergency situations has also been added.
